As a result, cholesterol is eliminated from the body, hepatic cholesterol concentrations are reduced, and expression of hepatic LDL receptors is increased. The receptors bind circulating LDL particles, which are subsequently metabolized, so that the cholesterol-lowering effect of BENECOLŪ Spreads is almost exclusively related to LDL cholesterol.
